Background: 10+ years working experience as data scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, product owner, strategic advisor, account/project manager and tech founder. Previous roles at VODW, KLM and Isobar. BSc and MSc Econometrics @ RuG.

Why Enjins? “In 2018, I co-founded Enjins together with Maarten and Bastiaan. At that time, still some years before the AI hype we are currently experiencing, data science was a proof-of-concept game. People and businesses cared about accuracy, but not so much about going live with their models in a real-world setting. We felt there was a need for a service company to fill this gap. By combining a strong engineering mindset with a data & AI skillset, we began to grow the team. By now, we have helped over 100 innovative startups, scale-ups, and challenges to productionize AI at scale. We launched a new hub in Berlin, a product spin-off called Deeploy, and we are ready for our next strategic step: leveraging our established footprint to become the number one AI Engineering brand in industries that we believe matter: Greentech, mobility, and marketplaces.”

Mariza’s commercial leadership at Enjins focuses on enabling data-driven growth for climate tech startups, scale-ups, and enterprise clients through customized AI solutions. Her expertise to date includes:

• Commercializing AI solutions in Energy, Climate Tech, and Mobility: Developed and executed new market entry strategies, product launches, and scalable go-to-market models for B2B and B2B2C digital products, including AI-based pricing and forecasting tools
• Product-market fit & value proposition design: Led clients through discovery and validation sprints to align machine learning solutions with business goals and customer pain points, ensuring impact and scalability
• Leadership in cross-functional & global teams: Managed commercial, product, and tech teams across Europe, Asia, and the Americas—instilling a customer-first mindset, agility, and growth culture
• Enablement of AI engineering & data teams: Designed operating models and capability frameworks to equip data and engineering teams for success in delivering high-value AI solutions

Background: 10+ years of global experience across consulting, energy, mobility, and tech. Most recently, Mariza was a Senior Consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising C-level executives on growth, pricing, and sales strategy, particularly within the European industrial and tech sectors. Prior to that, she held product leadership and commercial roles at Shell, where she led the global pricing product function, built digital tools leveraging machine learning, and scaled new B2B products across markets. Mariza holds an MA in Psychology, Business & Statistics from the University of Glasgow and is a certified Scrum Product Owner.

Background: 3+ years of working experience as Machine Learning Engineer mainly in GreenTech-, MedTech-, and online Marketplaces. MSc in Artificial Intelligence from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
