Why Enjins? “In 2018, I co-founded Enjins together with Maarten and Bastiaan. At that time, still some years before the AI hype we are currently experiencing, data science was a proof-of-concept game. People and businesses cared about accuracy, but not so much about going live with their models in a real-world setting. We felt there was a need for a service company to fill this gap. By combining a strong engineering mindset with a data & AI skillset, we began to grow the team. By now, we have helped over 100 innovative startups, scale-ups, and challenges to productionize AI at scale. We launched a new hub in Berlin, a product spin-off called Deeploy, and we are ready for our next strategic step: leveraging our established footprint to become the number one AI Engineering brand in industries that we believe matter: Greentech, mobility, and marketplaces.”

Why Enjins? “I chose Enjins because I did not want to limit myself to either work as a Business Consultant, a Platform Engineer, or a Data Scientist/ Engineer. I was immediately intrigued (and a little intimidated) that Engineers at Enjins typically function in any of these roles. Naturally, Enjins Engineers also specialize with time but that always builds on top of a thorough know-how of the entire system in which the ML Model functions, encompassing a company’s business logic, operational structures, software development processes and Data- and ML infrastructure.”

Background: 3+ years working experience as Machine Learning Engineer in Marketplaces, GreenTech-, Mobility, and Legal. MSc in Data Science in Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
Why Enjins? “What I like the most about Enjins is the amount of freedom you are given to make a success out of each assigned project. During your time at Enjins, you can quickly grow to a role in which you write business proposals and lead projects for clients. Carrying this responsibility brings more challenges than just building qualitative software, as you will be exposed to all facets of project management. Improving my leadership capabilities and writing clean code to facilitate change at organisations is what gets me going at Enjins.”
